Some reviewers and bloggers will tell you that there are certain headphones that should be worshipped and others that only belong in the bin, but I’m not all about that. You can find a pair of headphones to suit your needs at a reasonable price poi
£36.00nt so here are 5 of the best reasonably priced headphones that you can pick up right now.
This pair of over-ear headphones are almost unbeatable at this price point. They deliver high-quality audio from their 40mm drivers that will beat out or match some higher priced competitors. The only real downside with these headphones is their rather flimsy plastic construction, but for this price, you’ll struggle to find anything of better construction with the same quality in sound.
The Y50s are modern, stylish and most importantly great value for money. These on-ear headphones have a robust build and can be picked up in a number of colours, so you have more control over their appearance than you will over other headphones at this price point.
Normally when you’re shopping for a pair of good noise-cancelling headphones you’ll be looking at prices well over £100, especially if you want active noise cancellation (ANC). The TaoTronics TT-BH22, are definitely the exception to the rule. These headphones offer great quality noise cancellation and ANC, for well below the price of their closest competitor. Their design is fairly bland, and the construction is nothing to write home about, but they are worth picking up if you’re looking for noise cancellation, for less.
Sennheiser HD 201
If you’re after some decent headphones but you don’t have any room to wiggle when it comes to the budget, the Sennheiser HD 201s are most likely the best that you’ll be able to get. These over-ear headphones offer decent audio quality that will even beat out some more expensive headphones. The build quality isn’t great and they’re somewhat flimsy, but there is no competition when it gets down to price.
The rest of the headphones on this list are of the bulkier over-ear or on-ear type, so I thought I’d be remiss to not include a pair of great value in-ear headphones. The RHA S500u are exactly that. These little headphones offer great bang for your buck, with robust audio that copes well across the full range of sound.
